During law school, Mr. Reeder was a member of Stetson’s Moot Court Board and Trial Team while also working as the only law clerk at a busy Plaintiff’s litigation firm in Tampa.
Following law school, Mr. Reeder worked as a litigation associate for one of Tampa’s busiest Plaintiff’s litigation firms where he gained significant experience in the court room. During this time, Mr. Reeder first and second chaired numerous jury trials and arbitration proceedings throughout central and south Florida. After several years working on the Plaintiff’s side, Mr. Reeder accepted a position in Pensacola, Florida with one of the largest insurance defense firms along the Gulf Coast. During his time in Pensacola, he represented some of the biggest insurance companies in the world. While working as a defense attorney, Mr. Reeder gained additional trial experience by first and second chairing trials across north Florida. He was instrumental in opening the firm’s Atlanta office and was the primary attorney handling all of the firm’s Georgia cases. Mr. Reeder defended insurance companies as well as one of the nation’s largest companies specializing in private security that was responsible for the security of numerous shopping malls nationwide.
Mr. Reeder’s calling was always to represent Plaintiffs rather than insurance companies and after learning the insurance defense side of the law, Mr. Reeder accepted a position with a very successful creditor rights firm in Atlanta.
